Several years ago, +GF+ Signet obsoleted their 2714-2717 pH/ORP electrodes and 3-2720 preamplifier. The old preamplifiers have been unavailable for years, however; electrodes were slowly phased out until the end of 2015 and will not be available once our stock is depleted. Note: new electrodes will not work with the old preamplifiers.

What needs to be changed?
Instruments: We suggest upgrading instruments to the newer 9900 series transmitter for increased capabilities and continued support from Signet. The 3-9900-1P is the Panel Mount Transmitter, and the 3-9900-1 is the Field Mount. Relay modules are available for dry contact relays. However, this is not mandatory as the new transmitters also work with the old 5700 and 8750.
Preamplifiers: The sensor electronics/preamps must be upgraded. The old 3-2720 units will not work with the new electrodes.
Electrodes: The old 2714-2717 series electrodes must be upgraded.
