- Ed Simpson
Directing engineered system sales for Burt Process Equipment, Ed Simpson is responsible for sales of their manufactured products. This includes pH adjustment systems, RainEx rainwater recovery systems, high purity water generation skids, and more.
In addition, he oversees the team of technical support engineers for their distributed products component group. Ed’s focus is engaging his teams with their clients in the upfront design phase to provide engineered solutions for problems utilizing all the assets from Burt Process’s internal support and their decades of experience.
Ed started at Burt Process directly after receiving his degree in aeronautical engineering from Rensselaer as a project engineer in 1991. Handling all phases of project engineering including mechanical and electrical design, he later transitioned to a larger project management role and eventually to Director of Manufacturing Sales in 2006.
Ed currently resides in Southington, CT with his wife and four children where they enjoy a hectic life of constant activities including horseback riding, gymnastics, music lessons, and high school football!
