- This pump is a centrifugal magnetic drive pump, so no shaft seal is required. This sealless centrifugal magnetic drive pump is ideal for hot water systems. It has a maximum flow rate of 14 gallons per minute at 2 feet and a maximum head of 8.5 feet (3.6PSI). The standard wet end (materials in contact with the solution) is made up of Stainless Steel, Ryton, Ceramic, Carbon, and Nitrile/Fibre. The inlet is 0.75 inch female pipe thread, and the outlet is also 0.75 inch female pipe thread. The pump can withstand a maximum internal pressure of 150 PSI and a maximum liquid temperature of 250 F or 121 C. This pump does not self-prime, does not have a suction lift, and requires a flooded suction (the liquid must flow naturally to the pump). It cannot be run dry because the impeller is lubricated by the liquid being pumped. Never operate the pump until there is liquid inside it, and never run the pump dry. This pump's motor is U.L. listed and rated for continuous duty, and it has an electrical connection junction box. The maximum rated performance capacity is 14 GPM open flow and 8.5 feet total dynamic head. The flow will be lower than the rated capacity of 14 GPM at the maximum head of 8.5 feet. This pump's maximum operating temperature is 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
