GRI 14825-601 Oscillating Pump

The GRI 14825-601 represents an Oscillating Pump and Motor unit designed for leaf spring mounting, featuring 7/16 inch - 12mm ID Hose ports and coupled to a 220 Volts AC Motor. This oscillating pump operates within a low flow range of 0.2 to 0.8 gallons per minute (GPM) and generates low pressure ranging from 0 to 8 feet of head, making it suitable for transfer or circulating applications. The pump's design incorporates an elastomeric impeller that traverses through a spring and armature into an electric coil. A diode in the circuit delivers impulses to the coil at a frequency of 50 or 60 times per second, prompting the armature and impeller to move forward against the spring during each pulse, thereby pumping liquid through the outlet. Subsequently, the spring restores the armature and impeller to their initial positions, facilitating the intake of liquid through the inlet.
