The Gorman Rupp Industries (GRI) model # 13325-001 is a Bellows Metering Pump and Motor unit with 1-1/2-inch bellows and a 39 RPM, 115 Volt motor. These pumps can run dry, are self-priming, have no dynamic seals, are corrosion resistant, and have a long, maintenance-free service life. The motors are UL listed and rated for continuous duty, with a minimum life expectancy of 2000 hours. An open, shaded pole gearmotor is the standard motor. It is not recommended to leave the motor running indefinitely. These metering pumps are designed to displace both corrosive and noncorrosive fluids and operate on a positive displacement principle. When the pump is set to 50 percent to 100 percent of full stroke, it is accurate to within 0.5 percent from stroke to stroke.

The discharge pressure is maintained throughout the entire flow range of the pump. Poppet valves are used to prevent back flow, and springs are available to provide a positive shutoff and prevent siphoning through the pump in applications with a positive suction head.

The flow rate of all bellows pumps can be adjusted by varying the length of the discharge stroke. Down to 10% of the full stroke can be adjusted. While the pump is running, it cannot be adjusted. An adjusting screw changes the stroke length of an eccentric crank. It is important to note that when the stroke length is 50% or greater, the priming and metering accuracy is the best. The maximum operating temperature of this pump is 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Applications:

Film and xray processors, silver recovery systems, wafer and silicon chip washers and processors, detergent dispensers, blood analyzing equipment, industrial floor scrubbers, thermo therapy equipment, waste removal systems, and wastewater and water treatment systems are typical applications for the GRI 13325001. These bellows pumps' proprietary material blend makes them ideal for applications in the laboratory and analytical instrumentation markets, whether for fluid metering, sterilizing laboratory and surgical equipment, a critical analytical application, or a simple fluid circulation loop. The Bellows Metering pump line was originally designed to pump chemicals within film processors.

Although the film industry has changed dramatically since the first bellows pump, these Bellows pumps can still be found in imaging applications and many other markets around the world. These pumps are uniquely suited for the Printing and Image Reproduction market due to their accurate, long-lasting, leak-free metering capabilities.

High-end commercial color digital presses and printers, film processors, silver recovery systems, chemical blenders, printing press metering systems, copiers, and Xray processors are among the applications in the Printing and Image Reproduction market. The maximum viscosity of a fluid is 5,000 centistokes.
