This group includes vertical turbine, circulating, and axial flow pumps—each engineered for efficient handling of high flow rates, varying heads, and diverse process fluids. Designed for durability, easy maintenance, and optimal energy efficiency, these pumps are ideal for demanding process, cooling, and fluid transfer operations in multiple industries.
The VTP pump line is typically designed for installation in wells or sumps. Its bowl assembly includes a suction bell, one or more pump bowls, and a discharge case. The assembly is positioned within the sump or well at a depth that ensures proper submergence for efficient operation.
The VTG operates as a reverse-running pump. When the flow through the unit is reversed, the impeller turns in the opposite direction, allowing it to function as a turbine. In this mode, the motor serves as a generator, converting the turbine’s mechanical energy into electricity. Designed for applications with consistent head and flow, the VTG is ideal for fulfilling small-scale hydroelectric power requirements.
The HQ vertical circulator multistage pumps feature a bowl assembly suspended by a discharge column that extends from a base plate mounted on the floor. The column length is customized according to the specific application requirements.
Ruhrpumpen’s VCT pump models are vertically suspended, single-case pumps available in mixed or semi-radial flow configurations, with single or multistage options. When required, they can be designed in accordance with the latest API 610 standards (VS1 type), and when equipped with a barrel or can, they are designated as the VMT model (VS6 type).
The VAF pump family, which includes the VPO, PV, PMR, and PVD models, is designed for applications requiring high flow rates at low head conditions.
