inline pulsation dampener
The peristaltic pump operating principle causes pulsation. The pulsation dampener's rubber hose adjusts its volume to compensate for pulsation and provide a smooth flow to the discharge line. The Albin Pump ALHP inline pulsation dampener reduces vibration and water hammer in your piping, extending the life of your hose. This is accomplished through the use of a thick-walled, reinforced rubber hose mounted in a carbon steel, cylindrical pressure vessel. Compressed air surrounds the hose (nitrogen when ATEX equipped). The Albin Pump ALHP inline pulsation dampener can reduce up to 90% of the pump's pulsation. ALHP pulsation dampeners come in four sizes to fit ALH pumps ranging from ALH25 to ALH125.
